Spin separation technology
The typical application of solid-liquid separation is the solid-liquid separation of drilling fluid in the process of oil drilling. The cyclone used for separating solid particles in drilling fluid can be divided into sand remover according to its diameter. There are three types of desilter and micro-cyclone.
A cyclone with a diameter of 150-300 mm is called a desander。 When the working pressure is 0。2 MPa, the processing capacity of a single hydrocyclone is 20-120 m3/h and the separation particle size is 40-74 micron。 In the design and selection of drilling fluids, the rated capacity should be 125% of the maximum discharge of drilling fluids。
When the working pressure is 0.2 MPa and the processing capacity of a single cyclone is 10-15 m3/h, the cyclone with a diameter of 100 mm and 125 mm can remove 95% drilling cuttings larger than 40 micron and 50% drilling cuttings larger than 15 micron, and barite with a diameter of 12-13 micron at the same time. Therefore, the cyclone can not be used to treat heavy drilling fluid in design and selection. In the application of type I drilling fluid, its forehead handling capacity should be 125%~150% of the maximum displacement of drilling fluid.
When the working pressure is 0.2 MPa, the processing capacity of a single hydrocyclone is less than 5 m3/h. The separation particle size of the 50 mm hydrocyclone is mainly used to treat non-weighted drilling fluids and remove ultra-fine particles.
